Such statements made by Luxembourg’s foreign minister, who has long taken a firm anti-Azerbaijani position, are ridiculous, the Community said in a statement.
“The Azerbaijani public remembers the unfair, hostile position of Luxembourg since the period of the second Karabakh war. Luxembourg demonstrates a disregard for human values and international law. Luxembourg, which for 30 years has not called on Armenia to stop the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, turned a blind eye to the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis from their homeland, including us Western Azerbaijanis, has no moral right to urge Azerbaijan to anything. The Western Azerbaijan Community calls on Luxembourg to stop gross interference in Azerbaijan’s internal affairs and rid its foreign minister of Azerbaijanophobia,” the Community added.
